I'm proud of the friends....
that are on georgiasportbike.com site I frequently visit and people I hang out with from there. Nomak (Neil) is a Canadian that here in the U.S. going to school. He's paying his own way (out of state tutition) and has very little exta money. His sole transportation around Atlanta is a Suzuki GS500. His bike was in poor condition from a wreck he had and was just about down right dangerous. It was missing guagues, had a bent frame, bent subframe, mising plastic, bent forks among other thnigs.
Well a couple guys on the board got together and secretly hijacked his bike while he was away on a trip back to Canada. When Neil got back, they presented him with a completely re-done bike that was in much better condition. I was there for the unveiling and it was so awesome to see.
If anyone on the board deserved it, it was Neil. You can read about it here.

Ah...what happened here, Dan? I think I just sprained my eyeballs trying to read grey text on a white background, lol...where'd tha lightning go? :)
I accepted the invite...go in & make me an admin when you get a chance. See ya tomorrow!
Oh, yeah...I meant to comment on the actual post, too...
That's really cool what ya'll did for Neil. Kinda like a "Pimp My Ride" sorta thing.
It's really odd that I've now used that phrase ("Pimp My Ride") twice today. Weird.
Holla!
That was so funny Angela about the sprained eyeballs. It is kind of bright in here.
Dang, what happened? I'll turn it back black at least. I was trying to add my lighting background, I got this! I think it's stuck in the eternal light mode! :D
Okay, it's back to black. Whew, I really got to work on this html stuff.
I changed my template to a simple one Angela suggessted. Now I'm just trying to learn how to tweak it. For one, I do not like the all capital letters in my top box there. I gotta figure that one and then move on to other things. A work in progress.
Dan: Try editing the following code so that the line *text-transform:uppercase*
reads *text-transform:normal* and see
what happens.
/* Header
----------------------------------------------- */
#header {
width:660px;
margin:0 auto 10px;
border:1px solid #333;
}
#blog-title {
margin:5px 5px 0;
padding:20px 20px .25em;
border:1px solid #222;
border-width:1px 1px 0;
font-size:200%;
line-height:1.2em;
color:#ccc;
text-transform:normal;
letter-spacing:.2em;
}
